Breakfast at Vibrant

There is something exciting about trying a random place. My friends and I were meeting up for a meeting and wanted to get something quick and simple. When my friend described this place, she said “it gives me Black Mirror vibes”. When we arrived, she was telling the truth.

ABOUT VIBRANT:

Vibrant takes full pride in being a fully gluten, dairy, and refined sugar-free restaurant. They also make their bread, cheese, milk, and sausage from scratch daily in-house. One of the best things that keep Vibrant close to the community is that they source their food items locally. Their breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus are also served all day!

One thing I can say that that this place is very aesthetically pleasing. It did give me the “Black Mirror” vibes with minimalism & also a hint of Kim Kardashian’s home vibes too!

MY EXPERIENCE:

There is a parking lot on the side of the building with plenty of parking. When we arrived inside, we were greeted immediately. The staff member helped us with all our questions because we had so much. I was told where we were going 10 minutes before we arrived and I didn’t get a chance to do my normal research of the food I wanted.

I ended up getting the Chia Pudding. I always saw it in magazines and wanted to finally try it. The Chia Pudding as described on their menu, “Sumac-maple walnuts, cardamom & spice cashews, sesame seeds, golden berries, citrus honey”. I assisted my meal with the Golden Mylk Latte, “House-made turmeric pasted, ginger, cinnamon, honey, almond cashew milk”.

Friends orders:

  • Roasted Chicken Panini”: Roasted jalapeno-cilantro hummus, roasted tomato, red onion, basil, sunflower seed ricotta, focaccia

  • “Breakfast Tacos”: Almond flour tortilla, scrambled egg, avocado, microgreens, watermelon radish, jalapeno-mango salsa

  • Matcha Latte”: Mizuba matcha, honey, house-made almond cashew milk

The Chia Pudding helped crave my sweet tooth that I had. The spice cashews were really the best part. The different textures in the Chia Pudding made the dish enjoyable. The Golden Mylk Latte was very different for me. It was one of those, “my friend is trying it, let me try it also” moments. I have never had a drink that had turmeric in it however, after drinking it I felt renewed.

I know for sure I will be back for the Chia Pudding. It was a simple healthy dish that really helped with my sweet tooth cravings.
