Easy High-Protein Pizza Meal Idea
Let’s have pizza .. but let’s make it high protein!
Looking for a way to curb thought cravings and incorporate pizza into your meal plan? Look no further!
Ingredients:
2 Mission Carb Balance Tortillas
Light serving of Pizza Sauce or Marinara choice
24 slices of Turkey Pepperoni
Please note that regular pepperoni will not make it “high protein.”
49g of cheese of your choice.
Check the label for proper serving. I used a pizza blend.
Extra Topping choices
We used spinach, added garlic powder, minced onion, and added red pepper.
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°
Use your mission carb balance tortillas as the base.
Spread sauce of choice
Measure your cheese and divide it in half (to ensure you’re getting the measurement for your intake).
Add your turkey pepperoni
Add your extra toppings
Place on a cookie sheet to help create the “crunch.”
Bake for 15-17 minutes
